The Campagnolo Centaur Compact crankset is manufactured with multidirectional Carbon Fibre cranks or comes with black alloy cranksets. The compact crankset is offered with 34/50 rings with 170, 172.5 or 175 mm cranks. The alloy chainrings, which have been specially treated for durability, are only compatible with Campagnolo compact cranksets.

The diameters of the CT chainrings are considerably smaller than those used in traditional versions, whereas the tooth difference is considerably larger.
