The Campagnolo Record 11 speed Compact Chainset has full-carbon unidirectional-multidirectional cranks to give stiffness, weight savings and long fatigue life assisted by the Hollow cranks (Ultra-Hollow Structure).

The Campagnolo Ultra-Shift light-alloy chainrings provide a weight saving, increased stiffness and through the hard-anodizing treatment give increased resistance to wear. They are also corrosion-proof. The Ultra-Shift chainrings synchronization allows for improved shifting precision and quickness. The Campagnolo Ultra-Shift asymmetric teeth profile on the inner chainrings also give shifting and chain crossing optimization. The Campagnolo Record model has triple gaskets low-friction bearing seals for good insulation with the highest smoothness, light-alloy nuts and bolts for greater weight savings and 8 pins on the large chainring for faster shifting. The Campagnolo Ultra-Torque bb system is light, stiff and simple to fit/maintain. An additional feature of the Campagnolo Record model is the USB ceramic bearings with 5/32" premium-grade ceramic balls which are ultra smooth, lower friction, longer service life, lower power loss and give weight savings
