The Veloce groupset in its current form was first introduced in 2007 and has many improved features. These include Ultra-Torque cranksets, extremely light Skeleton brakes and the Ergopower Ultrashift mechanism.
The Ultra-Torque crankset is available with the classic 39/53 or the CT 34/50 toothing in black or silver. Three crank lengths exist for both versions: 170, 172.5 and 175 mm.
The new black Skeleton brakes are a new type of Campagnolo brake. They now offer greater reinforcement and stiffening of the most sensitive points while lightening those areas where the presence of material is superfluous. The braking system therefore becomes notably lighter with higher performance. The new Skeleton brakes are of the differentiated type, with a powerful front brake and a modulable rear brake. This option ensures a reduction of the stopping distances and enhanced safety.
The Campagnolo Ergopower Ultrashift Veloce controls are fitted with Campagnolo's new mechanism which reduces the component's weight and eliminates maintenance operations.
The new 11-25 10 speed cassette gives a broader range of ratios, just as suitable for the steepest climbs as for fast pedalable descents.
Components: Ergo/STi levers with cables, brake callipers, chain, chainset, front/rear changers, cassette.
Groupsets do not include pedals, headset or hubs; these must be ordered separately.
