The Kinesis Racelight KT-415 SPF frame was developed in 2008 from the KT410 and is used for time trial or triathlon events. The new frame showcases the latest 'SPF' [Superplastic Formed] tubing for it's front triangle. Using this advanced forming technique allows us to combine complicated aero tube shapes with thin wall, lightweight tubing. This has been hard to achieve by using standard Hydroforming techniques.

The SPF top tube is wide where it meets the head tube for stiffness and tapers down towards the deep aero section seat tube. The Seat tube takes full advantage of the new SPF technology, allowing it to hug the wheel more closely than the KT-410 frame.

The down tube has more of a 'teardrop' section than before and is wide where it meets the bottom bracket. Chainstays are now stiff, lightweight, alloy, and the seatstays are carbon.

The Kinesis Racelight KT-415 SPF frame uses a braze on front gear changer and also includes a carbon aero seatpost, colour matched Kinesis Energy integrated forks and 36/45 headset within the price.

The KT-415 comes in 5 sizes:

The 53 cm frame weighs 1540 g and comes in Steel Grey with Silver/White/Red graphics.
