Kreitler aluminum roller drums are carefully machined to virtually perfect concentricity for a silky smooth, whisper quiet ride and come in a variety of sizes with additional accessories. Kreitler frames are welded out of tubular steel and powder coated with a durable epoxy coating to last for years. The Alloy 4.5" Rollers are the flagship of the Kreitler line. Beautifully machined and perfectly balanced, the Alloy 4.5’s are the quietest and smoothest rollers on earth. Some would call the Alloy 4.5’s the “Rolls Royce” of cycle rollers. The Kreitler Challenger 4.5 Rollers use the same 4.5” machined aluminum drum cylinder as the Alloy 4.5 Rollers, but use Poly End Caps for a more economical option.

Each roller drum is 15" (30 cm) wide but the smaller the diameter of the drum the higher the wattage output and resistance you can obtain. For example at 20mph the 4.5 drum gives 126 watts, the 3.0 drum gives 176 watts and the 2.25 drum gives 239 watts. So for a really tough workout lower the drum size.
