Oval claim the R700 is the best looking, most reliable lightweight stem yet. The Oval R700 was used by the winner of the 2004 & 2005 Vuelta a Espana.

RBT® (Reverse Bolt Technology) eliminates key fatigue failure point whilst the marine SS bolts ensure 3xDIN reliability with no rust. As an added benefit the Oval R700 comes with Blue Loctite® that ensures bolts won’t rattle loose. The 44 mm, 4 bolt clamp minimizes bar flex and stress.

Made from 3-axis cold forged, 2014 T-6 body for optimum strength & lightweight the Oval R700 bias cut and opposing bolts cradle carbon steerers perfectly. The 180º bar wrap reduces stress on bar & bolts whilst the finely finished edges cradle lightweight bars.

The 28.6 mm steerer clamp diameter is standard but a 25.4 mm steerer can be used if an adaptor sleeve is fitted.
