The Cosmos is an incredible power-training device for cyclists who want to make the most of their training. This Ergotrainer is equipped with a very powerful engine brake so you can perform extremely hard workouts. It is for instance possible to generate more than 1,000 watt at a low pedalling frequency. On top of that the brake simulates descents and climbs to a tee. The resistance corresponds perfectly with what you would experience on the road. Climbs feel like the real thing. The PowerBack system causes the heat released in the brake during cycling to be converted into electricity, which is returned to the mains supply. This means that you generate your own power! The Cosmos is sold with a Skyliner support for the front wheel.
Do you want to know all the details concerning your training, from second to second? Thanks to the software that is sold with the Cosmos you can obtain complete insight. As soon as you are ready with your work out you can take the computer off the handlebars and connect it to your PC. That will allow you to download your training scores from the Cosmos to your PC. But you can also upload different scores and training programs from your PC to the Cosmos. You can also exchange information concerning your training programs and your scores with your coach or cycling buddies via the Internet. This is how the Cosmos couples the advantages of a stand-alone trainer to the possibilities of your PC.
The handlebar-mounted computer has 360 hours of memory and a full-colour display that shows power (watts), speed, pedalling frequency and heart rate. The Analyser software will show your stored workouts on your PC via histograms and tables. On top of your serious workouts you can also compete with up to 5 opponents at the same time, all of whom are represented by a histogram on your display.
